Nine days exploring Costa Rica’s Central Pacific Coast included a wide variety of accommodations; a lovely boutique B&B; a tin roofed jungle hut; a bunk in a dusty youth hostel next to a bus station (which I later learned was a significant hub for the region); and finally, thank the lord, 5 star, 20-room boutique Eco-Hotel and Reserve, Gaia.
Located in the Manual Antonio area, I was more than excited about Gaia’s proximity to one of the largest national parks in the country. The leap from coil spring bunks into crisp 500 thread count linens was just as welcomed, I won’t lie…
